OPTIMA provides Deal® Serious Game, a gamified application co-developed by Halifax Consulting and Manzalab that helps users improve their negotiation skills. The participant is placed in a negotiating situation with some particularly tough customers. Each interaction requires the participant to make choices among several possible actions, such as the choice of answering, the choice to remain silent, and the choice to interrupt. Each participant’s decision directly impacts the score according to its relevance.
Participants must choose a character and put themselves in the shoes of the negotiator. Throughout the negotiations, decisions must be made.
The negotiations to be conducted are realistic and under the constraints of time to push the participants outside of their comfort zone.
Serious Game provides immediate feedback through a points system and detailed summary sheets that analyze the participants’ choices and interactions.
