Day 1: Coaching Mindset & Human Communication

1. Model of Communication (Brain Mechanic)

  • What blocks effective communication
  • How humans filter information (Deletion / Distortion / Generalization)

2. The 4 Clouds – Inner Negativities

  • To understand the inner negativities: Negative Thinking, Limiting Belief, Inner Conflict, Negative Emotions Workshop included

3. Cause & Effect

  • Responsibility vs blame
  • Building empowerment & ownership

4. Empowering Beliefs of Successful Coaches

  • People have inner resources — Coaching helps the coachee discover their own answers.
  • The response shows the meaning — Coaches adjust their questions and communication based on the coachee’s response.
  • There is no failure, only feedback — Coaching turns mistakes into learning and next steps.

5. Reframing Skills

  • Powerful questions to remove negative emotions & solve problems.
  • To take charge of giving meaning to a negative situation and turn it into positive.
  • Workshop: Reframing Activities

6. Modality (Foundation of Personality)

  • Understand the coachee’s basic personality patterns through how they use their 5 senses.
  • Recognize how each coachee processes information differently by observing the language they naturally prefer.
  • Help the coach adjust questions and communication style to connect with the coachee more effectively.

  • Create safety and trust, so the coachee feels heard and respected.

  • Ask to create awareness, not to test or judge.
  • Help the coachee think deeper, see new perspectives, and notice blind spots.
  • Move the conversation forward, so the coachee finds clarity, options, and action.

5. Agreement Frame

  • Acknowledge the coachee’s view first, so they feel heard and respected.
  • Build on their thinking, instead of correcting, judging, or giving advice too quickly.
  • Reduce defensiveness, creating a safer space for reflection, ownership, and deeper insight.
